Tickmill is looking to hire a Brokerage Officer to join our rapidly expanding Dealing team.

The successful candidate will oversee various trading and risk systems in real-time and ensure their smooth operation. Will also have the chance to keep ahead of the latest trends concerning trading platforms, products, exchanges, risk calculation methods, regulatory requirement, and competitors.

What the job looks like?

The Brokerage Officer will have the opportunity to:

• Oversee various trading and risk systems in real-time and ensure their smooth operation.
• Carry out trade surveillance and investigate irregular trading activity.
• Monitor activity in the financial markets across a wide range of asset classes.
• Analyze companywide trade related metrics and advise on any irregularities.
• Monitor large exposures and be on top of market moving risk events.
• Work on developing tools to facilitate daily operations.
• Work with in-house developers to generate new monitoring processes and automating existing reports.
• Take part in the introduction and setup of new products and platforms.
• Liaise with third parties to ensure a smooth and reliable trading experience for clients.
• Assist Support team with advanced trading related disputes.
• Keep ahead of the latest trends concerning trading platforms, products, exchanges, risk calculation methods, regulatory requirement, and competitors.
• Produce complex reports as required by company’s management and regulatory bodies.

What will you need to be able to do the job?

• At least 2 years of FX & CFD experience as a Brokerage Officer.
• Proficiency in English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A degree-level education either in Finance, or Mathematics, or Economics or any other relevant field.
• CySEC Advanced Certificate.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to details.
• Experience with MT4 and/or MT5 platforms is a must.
• A good understanding of IT infrastructure / trade flows in order to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to optimize business processers.

It will be considered as a plus if you have:

• Experience with Exchange Traded Derivatives.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
