An international Trading/FX business is looking to strengthen its team and hire a Quantitative Analyst to join it’s academically strong and high-performing team. The business is on a high-growth trajectory, and provides a user-friendly and intuitive platform to allow a huge number of users to trade a variety of products smoothly and safely. The business holds all regulatory licenses and has the highest levels of compliance, and the company has the unique benefit of having traded for several decades which allows it an excellent reputation in a highly competitive market.

The successful candidate will use their academic excellence to utilise high level mathematical theories and implement them into real-world commercial uses, analysing all transactions/patterns to optimise user experience and company efficiencies. There are a range of risk management tasks are included in this position, stopping any illicit use of the site as well as ensuring all pricing policies are accurate and up to date.

The successful applicant will have a first-class academic background, with a PHD/Master or similar in a technical/statistical field, with excellent knowledge of a variety of statistical theories (e.g. probability, differential equations, modelling etc). You will have strong programming skills (Python/SQL etc.) and have the ability to communicate highly complex information in a simple and concise manner.

The position is based in Cyprus, and a relocation package is provided for the successful candidate.
